The Eagle Watch Coordinator is now getting her rehab license. She rescued over 250 birds last year and she is a volunteer. She told me about another nest by strawberry fields that both babies died either from starvation or poisoning. She is going to talk to Matthew Smith for the Maitland Birds of Prey Center and try to find out what needs to be tested. I gave her our two websites. I am going to get back with her and see what she has found out. I have been house visiting for the past two days and have not found a place to go. I think they are getting ready to start at one farm to the west of us- all the tractors are out and in position. I believe I gave my friend your email address. She is overwhelmed with all these birds to rescue.
